Dr. Koga was incredible. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

I was diagnosed with an intracranial meningioma behind my left ear. Dr Koga and his staff were very professional and kind. Being told you have a brain tumor is terrifying, but they were able to inform me of my options in a way that comforted me. My family and I were able to ask as many questions as we needed to feel secure with the upcoming surgery and my recovery... I was also pleased that Dr Koga not only removed the tumor completely, he did so in a way which resulted in quick healing with very little trauma or scarring. We've all been so pleased with my progress. You would never even know I had brain surgery only a month ago. Truly miraculous and we're so grateful for Dr Koga and his staff.

I was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and Dr Koga was my neurosurgeon. He explained where the aneurysm was and the options I had. He explained both options thoroughly and answered the questions that I had and the questions of my family. He did not rush but took his time with us. He did the surgery and I have had a miraculous recovery. Back at work & doing great! Would recommend Dr Koga highly!!

I believe medicine is both art and science. I offer my patients the very latest technologies, but I refuse to allow the industrialization of healthcare. Neurological diseases are very daunting and are often accompanied by psychological and family stress. The best results emerge when the surgeon and the patient are in a true partnership. We give each patient careful explanations of the anatomy and the surgical approach in each case. Beyond technical excellence in the operating room, we strive to offer each patient a caring environment, with ample education and supportive postoperative care.
We do the right thing for every patient every time.
We care about the individual.
We answer the telephone.

Pieter Bruegel the Elder c. 1563
For many years I displayed in my office a copy of this painting of the Tower of Babel by Pieter Bruegel the Elder c. 1563. It is symbolic of the broken state of the current healthcare system in which insurance agencies, hospitals and doctors cannot work towards a common goal. Every day my staff and I do everything in our power to overcome this chaos on behalf of our patients!
